114th District Meeting

The 114th Legislative District Committee of the Republican Party of Lackawanna County will meet on Tuesday, 15 January 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at Republican HQ, 400 Spruce Street, Suite 100, Scranton, PA 18503.

The purpose of the meeting is to interview potential 114^th Legislative District candidates in order to make a recommendation to the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Lackawanna County, to discuss other upcoming races in 2019, to discuss fundraising necessary for a 2019 campaign office, and address any other business that comes before the committee.

114th District Vacancy Update

To address a vacancy in the office of State Representative in Pennsylvania’s 114th Legislative District, a Special Election will be held.  The Republican Party of Lackawanna County’s Executive Committee will accept applications from individuals interested in becoming the Republican Party’s candidate in this election.

Applications shall include:

1. A letter stating the intent of the individual to seek the appointment as well as any other information they wish to share with the committee;
2. A copy of the applicant’s current voter registration card/SURE system card which may be obtained at the Lackawanna County Department of Elections Voter Registration Office, 2400 Stafford Ave, Scranton, PA 18505;
3. A current resume.

The Executive Committee of the Republican Committee will seek the recommendation of the 114th Legislative District Committee prior to filling the vacancy.
